Andrea trained under world-renowned Feng Shui Master Joey Yap, and she obtained her Feng Shui practitioner’s certification in early 2023, focusing on design strategies:

Why Feng Shui Architecture?
Let’s demystify Feng Shui, especially in the Western hemisphere, where some misconceptions linger. Contrary to popular belief, Feng Shui isn’t about carrying trinkets or changing your wall colors. It’s a sophisticated system delving into how the energy of our surroundings influences buildings and how we can tap into that energy for a better, more balanced life.Now, one might assume that architects, with our keen eye for aesthetics and practical considerations, would naturally grasp Feng Shui principles; however, that’s not entirely accurate. Architects cover a broad spectrum of design elements—beauty, views, weather, flow, function, comfort, safety, health, and community enhancement. Yet, the elusive concept of life force energy is not exactly at the top of our design program.
Every entity in our world, living or not, possesses energy, and understanding how this energy operates allows us to harness it for personal transformation. Ancient Chinese texts reveal how masters studied the connections between celestial cycles, landscapes, and human behavior. After millennia of observation, they unveiled patterns in our conduct, forming the basis for Feng Shui as we know it today. So, the next time you ponder where to put your bedroom – or even your sofa for that matter – drop the IKEA manual and tune to what’s around you.
